Welch Creative Lighting is owned and operated by Oscar and Mindy Welch.

"We've worked in professional lighting for 25 years" says Oscar. "We lit the entire Clooney family [George and Rosemary] and worked with General H. Norman Schwarzkopf after Desert Storm. He was staging large-scale charity fund-raising events, and we did the lighting and production".

Despite their illustrious careers in lighting, Oscar and Mindy want to assure their clients that customer service is their main focus, paired with honest business dealings and a good old-fashioned sense of a day's work for a day's pay.

Our profile wouldn't be complete without Mike Stone and Tom Mikolaizik. Oscar calls them "The True Professionals"

Welch Creative Lighting has won a national Emmy award and many Florida Emmy awards for their work in the lighting industry.

They are the hard-working professionals whose faces you will see coordinating teams and installing your lighting. Mike and Tom have been landscapers; they know trees and shrubs and regularly consult with our customers on landscape. 

Both are certified landscape lighting technicians and regularly attend seminars on electrical safety as part of their responsibility as landscape lighting professionals.  They are both seasoned landscape lighting installers, and a whole lot more when it comes to walking on someone’s property…they respect it as if it were their own.  Tom and Mike say; “We like for people to say it’s like nobody was even here…except for how cool our house looks at night!”  They strive for that kind of feedback from our customers.   

We have had a number of phone calls from our clients who request Mike or Tom to return to maintain their system or to add extra fixtures.  We have taken several calls about Tom or Mike and the voice at the other end of the line tells us that they are model employees…the kind of workers we wish every service company had. 

Welch Creative Lighting has 6 employees but numbers reach 20 near the holiday season.
